Private 2-hour Guided Beatles & Culture Walking Tour from Liverpool Lime Street Station
- Duration: 3 Hours (approx.)
- Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
- Product code: P1A4UH
This is an easy fun 2-hour tour with lots of photo stops and visits inside museums and galleries and it is ideal for individuals as a private tour or smaller and larger groups (although for groups larger than around 16 we suggest you contact us as we would prefer you to split the group and use additional guides as required as its a more personal tour with smaller numbers)
First stop is William Brown Street in the heart of the World Heritage Site where we will visit the fabulous Victorian Round Reading Room.
Next we make our way to Mathew Street to visit the Cavern Club (for afternoon and weekend tours there is a small entrance charge of around £2.50 per person which you can pay cash at the door - most days are free of charge) - The Beatles played here 292 times in the 1960's and there is usually live music and the opportunity to buy souvenirs.
Next we walk through the World Heritage Site passing Liverpool Town Hall where The Beatles appeared on the balcony after their homecoming banquet after their World Tour. We will pass the Headquarters of White Star Shipping Line who built the Titanic and visit the Museum of Liverpool.
The Tour will end with photos at the New Beatles Statues in front of the iconic Liver Birds and Liver Buildings on Liverpool Waterfront.
The tour ends close to the Royal Albert Docks where there are lots of shops and the Maritime Museum and Tate Gallery as well as the superb Beatles Story Museum which you can book as an optional extra.
There is also the option to book the Radio City Tower tour as an optional extra at check out which has superb views of the city, the Wirral and even as far as North Wales.
You can use your rail ticket from any of the underground Mersey Rail stations to get back to Lime Street Station and many cities are extremely close and even London is only about a 2 hour journey so this tour is a superb idea for a family or a group of friends.
